I currently live in Arlington, TX and am the Assistant Director of the Honors College at UT Dallas. Working in higher education for 16 years, I have had plenty of stories to share–especially through my writing! With college students, I’ve volunteered at several nonprofits and traveled with them to Santiago, Chile and Italy (Florence, Rome and Milan) for study abroad trips. In 2006, I received a B.A. in Creative Writing from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. In 2015, I received a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.

I hope to someday become a published author; I am currently writing a YA novel, a children’s chapter book series, and several short stories.

I am also an avid TV watcher and I’m not ashamed to say that I plan my schedule around my shows (and once in a while steal lines/character traits from these shows and put them in my stories, too).

All-Time favorite shows: American Dreams, Brothers & Sisters, Caroline in the City, The Cosby Show, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, Felicity, Frasier, Friends, Fringe, Full House, Glee, The Golden Girls, Home Improvement, I Love Lucy, Lois & Clark, LOST, Mad About You, Studio 60, Switched at Birth, Will & Grace

Current shows I’m watching: The Crown, Queer Eye, Umbrella Academy, Virgin River, Whose Line is it Anyway, The Wonder Years
